Bespoken Table 41

This piece I made for Georg Jensen.London. Georg Jensen once said, that he got the inspiration for the “Blossom series” , one of GJ’s distinctive brands, by looking at “mølleåen” a beautiful river just outside copenhagen; The light of the fullmoon reflectet in the water was it! In this disk the magnolia blossom in the core of the tree, finding light through out inclusions and small lakes at the surface of the table. The silver floating in the viens of the wood, bubbles out of knot holes, creating silverlakes that leaves a trail of magnolia stamen. Ebony is used as butterfly joints, as it is well often used by GJ. for grips and handles.
